Match Report - 21 Feb 2015, Harris Academy FP Hockey Club 1st Team Outdoor beat Strathclyde University
Strathclyde started the match a point ahead of Harris but with a game more played. Harris came close after 7 minutes when the Strathclyde keeper saved well from Albert's short corner drag flick. This turned out to be the only short corner of the game. Harris opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Neil Martin beat two players along the left baseline and crossed the ball which was cleared to the top of the D where it was picked up by Gavin Martin and his shot looked goalbound but Ferg Wilson made sure with a reverse hit into the goal.

Harris came close to increasing their lead from a long corner when Ferg Wilson deflected past the post from an Iain Mitchell hit into the shooting area. Four minutes later Marc Callaghan had a chance well saved by the University keeper. At the other end Ally Blair had to come out of his goal to clear from a dangerous counter-attack from Strathclyde. The second goal for Harris came 18 minutes into the second half. Greg Whittet took a quick free hit and passed to Albert Rowling and his square pass back to Greg was fired into the roof of the net. With time running out Chico shot wide of target before Harris scored their third through Sam Owen-Hughes from a Ferg Wilson assist.
