Match Report - 13 Dec 2014, Harris Academy FP Hockey Club 1st Team Indoor beat Falkirk
It was 13 minutes into the game before the first goal was scored by Falkirk but almost immediately Harris equalised when Albert Rowling scored from a Neil Martin pass. Falkirk scored from a drive around the top of the D and shot a minute later but again Harris responded with an equaliser almost immediately when Iain Mitchell drove down the right and passed for Albert to score. Harris were unlucky to lose another goal in the 17th minute when Neil dispossessed a Falkirk player as he was about to push the ball into the goal but a penalty flick was awarded. Falkirk scored from this and then got another on the counter attack to lead 4-2 at half time.
Harris cut the lead to one in the first minute of the second half when Gavin slipped the ball to Albert in front of goal and he beat the keeper to make it 4-3. Harris then missed a short corner and Falkirk scored from one at the other end to regain a two goal lead. Harris came back again when Albert passed across goal for Gavin to net from close range and reduce the Falkirk lead to one. A yellow card for Falkirk shortly after this led to Harris pressing for an equaliser and during this time Falkirk also received a green card. Iain Mitchell and Marc Callaghan combined to set up Gavin Martin to get the equaliser. Shortly after this Falkirk received another yellow card and with only two Falkirk players on the pitch the game was abandoned and Harris were awarded a 10-0 win.
