Harris 5 - 5 Perthshire
National League Division 3
Saturday 13th September at DISC
In a high scoring game at DISC Perthshire opened the scoring after ten minutes. After Albert Rowling levelled from a short corner Perthshire scored twice before half-time to take a two goal lead.
Harris started well in the second half and after three minutes were level. First of all Neil Martin scored when he picked up a rebound from a Marc Callaghan shot and then a reverse pass from Neil found Ferg Wilson who netted the equaliser. Ten minutes later Harris were ahead from another Albert short corner before Perthshire equalised from a penalty flick. Ferg put Harris ahead again 5-4 when he picked up a cross inside the D and after his first shot was saved he scored from the rebound. With time running out Perthshire made it 5-5 folllowing  a rebound from a short corner. There was still time for one last chance when Pete Black was sent through but his shot was saved by the Perthshire keeper. (match report)

Perthshire 2s  2 - 2 Harris 2s

Midlands League Division 1
Saturday 13th September at Kilgraston
Perthshire led 1-0 at half-time. In the second half Jack Dyer equalised for Harris and Dougie Lowdon put Harris ahead before Perthshire levelled the scores for a share of the points.

GM 2s  15 - 0  Harris 3s
Midlands League Division 1
Saturday 13th September at Dawson Park
Ten man Harris faced a difficult task against a Menzieshill team returning from the Regional league to play in Midlands Division 1. The Harris team put in plenty of effort throughout the game and other teams in the league will find it just as difficult when they come up against GM2.

Saturday 6th September 2014

Highland 3 - 3 Harris
National League Division 3
Saturday 6th September in Dingwall
Neither team really tested  the keepers early on in the game. Highland scored two goals from short corners late in the first half. Harris started well in the second half  and from their second short corner of the half Euan Simpson scored to make it 2-1. After a Harris goal was disallowed Highland scored from a counter-attack to regain their two goal lead. Harris pressed and missed a couple of short corners before they got back into the game five minutes from time. A Neil Martin shot was blocked by a defender on the line and Euan Simpson converted the penalty flick. Harris equalised in the last minute when Pete Black scored from a short corner. (match report)

Saturday 30th August

Harris 6 - 3 Monarchs
Saturday 30th August at DISC
Marc Callaghan put Harris ahead after two minutes. After failing to extend their lead from three short corners, Harris scored their second through Pete Black after some good build up play from the Harris midfield. Greg Whittet  scored to make it 3-0 for Harris at half-time.
Monarchs fought back scoring an early second half goal and then another half way through the second period before goals from Pete Black and Jack Dyer put Harris three ahead again. Monarchs scored from a short corner to make it 5-3 but a second goal for Greg following a solo run and shot made the final score 6-3 to Harris (match report)

Kevin Walker Community Shield
Saturday 30th August at Dunfermline
The second team travelled to Dunfermline for the annual Kevin Walker Community Shield tournament hosted by Dunfermline City. A Dylan Ackerley goal gave Harris a 1-0 win in their first game against Falkirk and this was followed by a 1-0 defeat by Kinross. A 1-1 draw with the hosts (scorer Colin Wilkie) and a 2-0 win against a mixed team (scorers Mamun Hossein and Kevin Ancell) gave Harris  third place in the tournament (match report

Saturday 23rd August

Dunfermline Carnegie 6 - 5 Harris
Saturday 23rd August at Glenrothes
Travelling to Glenrothes with just eleven players and fielding four schoolboys Harris came under early pressure. Despite looking dangerous on the counter-attack Harris found themselves four behind at half-time. A more attacking approach in the second half produced two early goals both scored by Ferg Wilson before Carnegie scored twice to regain their four goal advantage. With ten minutes to go a double from Greg Whittet got Harris back into the game. Ferg Wilson completed his hat-trick with two minutes to go and Harris pressed for an equaliser but couldn't get back on level terms. (match report)
