Match Report - 05 Oct 2013, Harris Academy FP Hockey Club 1st Team Outdoor beat Highland
Harris got off to a shaky start conceding an early short corner which they defended successfully. However in six minutes an aerial pass over the Harris defence was taken well by a Highland forward who drilled it low past Stevie in goal. Harris then got their passing game going well and deservedly equalised through Ferg Wilson after 17 minutes. Harris continued to move the ball around well after this but there was no further scoring in the first half. Harris started badly in the second half with Highland scoring after 2 minutes. A minute later Harris were back on level terms when Neil Martin drove along the baseline on the right and cut back for Greg Whittet to equalise. Six minutes later Harris won a short corner and Albert Rowling drag flicked high into the Highland net. A great individual effort from Albert put Harris two ahead when he drove right past several defenders before hitting the ball low past the keeper. Highland pushed men forward to try to get back into the game and there were chances at both ends. Although Highland got the next goal to make it 4-3 Harris continued to play well and there was no further scoring.
Man of Match:- Albert Rowling
