Match Report - 12 Apr 2014, Harris Academy FP Hockey Club 1st Team Outdoor lost to Wanderers 1

For their Scottish Cup derby match Harris had to make a number of changes due to a combination of suspension, injury, a stag weekend and a football semi-final. Harris started mainly on the defensive but had a good chance in 11 minutes when Neil Martin had his shot well saved. At the other end just after this Stevie did well to keep the scores level. However after 13 minutes it was Wanderers who took the lead and a second goal two minutes later put them in control. In the 26th minute Hamish Galt's drag flick from a short corner was well saved but two more goals at the end of the half made the half-time score 4-0. Wanderers started the second half well with two short corners both defended well by Harris. A fifth goal 15 minutes into the second half and another five minutes from the end gave Wanderers a comfortable 6-0 win. Harris to their credit worked hard throughout the game, defending well and looking to hit on the counter-attack.
