Harris were more of an attacking force in the second half and three minutes into the half Ferg Wilson had a shot saved by the keeper. Shortly after Ferg collected the ball and found Finlay Wright pushed forward to win a long corner. Eleven minutes into the half Harris missed a short corner but two minutes later Euan Simpson scored from another short corner. Harris were pressing for an equaliser and another short corner was missed before Ferg looked to have levelled the scores after 16 minutes only to have his goal disallowed for a previous infringement. Shortly after this Highland scored from a counter-attack to make it 3-1. Harris continued to press and short corners in the 23rd and 24th minutes were both defended well by Highland. With five minutes to go Harris pressure paid off when Ferg found Neil Martin on the far post. His first shot hit a defender's head as he dived to block the shot and the same defender then bravely blocked Neil's second shot on the line. Euan Simpson converted the penalty flick. With time running out Ferg broke clear but his reverse shot went wide. In the last minute Harris won their sixth short corner of the half and Pete Black equalised from a Harris set play.
