Match Report - 07 Feb 2015, Harris Academy FP Hockey Club 1st Team Indoor beat Inverleith II
Both teams worked hard to keep possession during the first ten minutes of the game. Harris defended well during this period with Ally Blair in goal commanding his D well. At the other end Gavin Martin and Albert Rowling produced good saves from the Inverleith keeper. Harris broke the deadlock in the 11th minute with a great solo goal from Albert Rowling when he drove down the left and beat the keeper with an angled shot. Two minutes later and the same player increased the Harris lead form a short corner. In the 15th minute Marc Callaghan won a penalty flick when he was fouled driving into the D and Albert completed his hat-trick from the flick.

The second half opened with Harris on the attack and Albert won a short corner which he netted to put Harris four ahead. Two minutes later Gavin Martin intercepted an Inverleith pass out of defence, drove on and beat the keeper to make it five. Another short corner for Harris also produced a yellow card for Inverleith and Albert scored to put Harris six ahead. Almost immediately Inverleith got on the scoresheet for the first time but Harris responded in the next minute with Greg Whittet providing the assist for Gavin's second goal of the game. Harris defended two Inverleith short corners and Harris missed from another before Sam Owen-Hughes made it 8-1 for Harris in the 34th minute. Inverleith scored their second with two minutes to go before Albert got his sixth goal of the game from a penalty flick in the final minute of the match.
