Match Report - 16 Feb 2019, Harris Academy FP Hockey Club 1st Team Outdoor beat Aberdeen University
Harris made a good start with Ferg Wilson providing early chances for Grant McInroy and Niall McKay. In the 18th minute Harris missed from the first short corner of the match and Aberdeen University missed from a short corner two minutes later. Ferg WIlson brought out good save from the university keeper but two minutes later Gav Martin intercepted a pass at the back and squared for Ferg to open the scoring. With Harris looking like reaching half-time a goal ahead Aberdeen equalised from a short corner and there was still time for Harris to miss from their second short corner of the game.

Harris made a good start to the second half and in the 39th minute Ferg Wilson provided the assist for Grant McInroy to put Harris ahead. Only a tremendous save from the visiting keeper stopped Niall McKay from putting Harris further ahead but the third goal for Harris came two minutes later with Ferg WIlson flicking the ball high into the net. In the last quarter of the game it was the University team who had the upper hand and missed from five short corners during this time. Duncan McNicoll in the Harris goal made several fine saves during this period to preserve the Harris lead and help Harris collect three points.
